When someone called and said the water pump is down. I ran out (in the pouring rain) to see if it was something simple... but it's not.
I kind of thought I could smell that burnt electrical smell a I was getting closer to the pump. Sure enough, there was still smoke coming from the electric motor!
So...not a simple job. I have a spare assembly that I need to go change out, so it will take some time. So this was your blog post for today!

There's your problem. Electrical stuff works on smoke, when the smoke gets out it quits working.

ReplyDeleteIt wasn't too bad as everything was right there but it was still not a lot of fun in the rain and still took an hour or so to change over. Everything is working nicely now though. :-)
