But I knew the price was fair, and that someone would come along eventually.
He and his wife came out and I met them in a little village near the park. Took it for a test drive, and they agreed to buy it at my asking price of $2,300 firm. He actually tried offering less, but I stuck to my guns because I knew the little blue car was worth it. Not interested in negotiating. Plus, I told him, he's also getting a full tank of gas because we had just filled it up on the way back home on Tuesday.
But, we're sad to see him go. He was a great little car and never let us down.
The little blue car took us on lots of adventures!

And in Canada...
That was wonderful now that you don't need him anymore . now to carry on with more travels.
ReplyDeleteYes, now it is one less thing to think about. Just over a week now and the adventure begins again.
DeleteA great car but one less worldly possession you have to pay for/worry about. Great timing so you didn't have to store it
ReplyDeleteWe will miss "him" but you are right, one less thing to think about and it will help us save even more money down the road.
DeleteYou would think that in Canada that is a real steal. Bye Blue.
ReplyDeleteMore so in a big city where people are looking for something smaller and more fuel efficient but not so much out here in the country, especially in the winter.
DeleteYay! Major load off your back now that he is sold. But I enjoyed our two trips to Cabri in the notorious LBC and now kinda miss him as well lol
ReplyDeleteYes, it really is a load off our backs but we sure are going to miss him and the adventures that he has taken us on. Feeling a little sad at the moment :-(
DeleteAnd now the little blue car will have more adventures with a new driver. May they both enjoy the ride!
