I went out and took some early pics of our last morning at the park...
Clear blue sky...
The campers are all gone.
The compressor is on the way here to blow out the air lines, and then we can lock things up, have lunch, and hit the road.
Next update from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan!

ReplyDeleteIt was an absolutely gorgeous day for our last day, so yes it was a nice memory to leave with.
DeleteHappy pre-retirement day...again lol
ReplyDeleteThank you, except that it is "pretirement" not "pre-retirement". :-)
DeleteThe excitement is in the air enjoy your new freedom.
ReplyDeleteYes, excitement is definitely in the air now that we have everything all closed up and were able to wake up with a different view out the window this morning.
Deletehappy travels to you both!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sue and Doug!
DeleteWow. Time sure flies. Looking forward to hearing from you on down the road.
ReplyDeleteYes, it sure does, especially now that it is all over with. We will admit that there were a few days during the summer that we thought were never going to end.
DeleteAnd so starts the next chapter... good luck and safe travels.
ReplyDeleteIt should be an exciting chapter!
DeleteI know the excitement you are feeling! Free at last!
ReplyDeleteYep, it is pretty exciting for us right now. Sort of like the same feeling we had almost ten years ago when we hit the road the first time after selling the house and just about everything in it. :-) Let the adventures begin!
DeleteSafe travels. I know you must be excited to be on to new adventures.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sherry! Yep, definitely excited. :-)
DeleteGreat last morning there, have a safe trip!
ReplyDeleteIt ended up beginning almost the whole day rather than just the morning but it was a great day and we got it all done.
DeleteIt's nice to have it all closed up and that chapter done. Perhaps you may come back some day... but anxious to see all the new adventures you are going to have!
ReplyDeleteYes, one chapter ends but another new one begins and we are excited. :-)
DeleteWe haven't ruled that possibility out, one of the nice things about leaving on good terms. We will see how things go down the road for us and then decide in a year or two how we will proceed from there.
Best wishes always!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Connie and Barry! Another month and a half or so and we will be seeing you both again. :-)
DeleteThe campground looks super. Safe travels.
ReplyDeleteThank you Paul and Marsha. We have definitely left it in better shape than we found it and hopefully the next couple that take over our job will take as much care in the park as we did.
DeleteWell done! Now enjoy your travels (like you wouldn't). :cD
ReplyDeleteThank you Paul and Marti. And yes, we intend to enjoy our travels to the fullest! :-)
DeleteThe little blue car is gone, and Sherman is in Ottawa: so how are you traveling?
ReplyDeleteAh. You must have missed that post. Our friend Wendy had lent us her car to get to the park at the end of April. She was going to pick it up over the course of the summer, but never made it. So we drove it back to her yesterday, and she will drive us to the airport later this afternoon.
DeleteBest wishes Kevin and Ruth. We will miss your smiling faces!
ReplyDeleteThank you Don and Bev, we will miss yours too!
DeleteWishing you both the best for the coming adventures. Will be following your posts which make us feel like we are traveling with you. Take care and stay safe!
ReplyDeleteThank you Brigette! We are looking forward to bringing all our adventures to you virtually. :-)
DeleteExcited for you...Kelly
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly, we are excited too! :-)
