Lexington, Kentucky is having some great weather!

Finally seems like we've traveled far enough south, and that cold band we were in seems to have lifted. Nice bright sunny day yesterday and the sunshine is forecast for the next few days with highs around 15C (60F). Beautiful.

Staying with our friends here in Lexington and it was a perfect day to go to the park and feed the ducks...

Here is where Sherman is parked...

They have a perfect driveway for Sherman, on a quiet dead end street.

Mailbox on the other side of the street. Too funny.

Then we took a drive over to the park to feed the ducks and go for a walk...

It seems we weren't the only ones with the same idea.

Wow! They have a fantastic playground at this park!

I think we're going to head to downtown Lexington today. What a beautiful day it is...

  1. Glad the Weather is cooperating for you.
That is the biggest Playground set up I've seen anywhere.
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

    1. The weather has been amazing these last few days, we love it! :-)

That was only one section of the playground they had two other structures there as well. It must seem like heaven to the kids. They also just finished a splash pad this fall that will open late next spring when the hot weather arrives.

  3. To me, 15C is just about perfect. I was plenty warm outside today at plus six, and tomorrow they're calling for thirteen. Shirt sleeve weather. Well, for Canadians.

    1. Anything been 15 and 20 is pretty much perfect as long as the sun is shining and there isn't a strong wind. I hope the "warm" weather keeps up for as long as possible for you but somehow I don't think that will be too long.

  4. Always nice to stay with friends. When we stop in that area, we stay at the Kentucky Horse Park. They have a great tour there as well.

    1. Yes, that seems to be where most RVers stay when visiting Lexington. Both times that we were here before have always been with people that we know so we have been able to stay in the driveway or on the street. And, luckily enough they have both been on quite streets.

  5. Warmer weather is nice. I've always found that south of Nashville is the start of the nice weather.

    Take care, be safe

    1. Yes, even Kevin has said that the real nice weather wouldn't start until we get south of Nashville. However we have been lucky with the nice weather these last few days. :-)

We are definitely enjoying our visit with our friends.
