12,410 days and counting...

On a Saturday afternoon in May of 1984, Ruth and I strolled down the aisle and said "I do"!

We had only known each other since March of 1983... fourteen months. Many people thought it wouldn't last! But here we are, after 34 years of wedded bliss!

Well, it hasn't all been wedded bliss. I'm pretty sure there were (and maybe still are!) times where she thought "What have I got myself into...?" And for sure, we still don't always see eye to eye on things. I doubt that there are any couples who totally agree on everything. But for the most part, we agree on things and we love our life together. Wouldn't have it any other way.

When we got married, I told Ruth she would never be bored! I'm pretty sure I was right. We are definitely never bored.

It's a done deal now!

12,410 days ago!

I figure we're only half way there. In another 34 years, we'll both be 90... I think that's do-able!

Nothing special planned for the day (and it is a working day!), although we are headed out for drinks at friends near here, along with Steve and Jo (the new managers here). Oh, and we have a bottle of wine saved for dinner tonight!

Have a great Saturday!
