We think this is our fourth or fifth visit to Etzatlan.
Here is the route we took...
Yesterday's drive, 96 kms (60 miles).
Heading towards the mountains.
This pickup truck looked like it was about to fall over!
Scenery along the way.
Passing by the town of Ameca.
More scenery.
Scenery through the mountains.
Hardly any traffic.
Nearing Etzatlan.
Pulled in to Delia's and Bonnie and her daughter Samantha were there to greet us. Nice to see Bonnie again, and to finally meet Samantha.
Delia's Trailer Park isn't very big... I think there are 12 serviced sites. So I had contacted her in advance to make sure that there was room for eight of us. But there were only two other rigs here, so we all had somewhere to park. I think we are the first RV caravan to ever come through here, and it's nice to give the business to Bonnie. They think it's the first time in years that they've been this close to full!
Everybody parked up at Delia's Trailer Park in Etzatlan.
It's a shame more people don't come here. There is a lot to do in the area, and it's such a nice rural setting. And the temperatures are perfect. 27C (81F) during the day, and 10C (50F) at night... with clear blue skies. Absolutely perfect.
We're already thinking of extending our stay!
House finch.
Iguana.
A game of Quirkle before happy hour.
Happy to be here. We're going to take advantage of the beautiful paved bicycle path this morning. The last time we were here it was 35 kms long... now it's been extended to 80 kms!

Nice price drop on the popular Coleman Compact Folding Camp Table.
And in Canada...
Perfect weather for an extended stay! It pays to be flexible. Love the green park.
ReplyDeleteOther than the super hot weather along the coast, we have had perfect weather the whole trip. :-)
DeleteThis is a really nice little park in the country, it is a shame that more people don't add this location to their itinerary.
Definitely perfect weather and the Park looks inviting. With more people reading your Blog they might start getting more visitors.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
We have had wonderful weather all winter, other than the super hot weather on the coast but we would even take that over the alternative back home in Canada or even the weather that Arizona was having this past winter.
DeleteWe certainly hope that more people will make their way to Etzatlan by way of our blog, as long as it doesn't get too busy that there would be no room for us when we come to visit. ;-)
It looks like a nice clean park - a nice place to park for a few days
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful park, and Bonnie and Samantha are great hosts. :-)
