Only two weeks left!

We originally had five nights planned here at Delia's Trailer Park in Etzatlan. But there is so much to see and do here, and everybody likes it so we are extending our stay to seven nights.

Another reason that we have this flexibility is that we had been planning on visiting the city of Aguascalientes, but there is only one RV option close to the city and they have told me that they only have three available sites. So we've changed the route a little bit and we are cancelling Aguascalientes. That left us with a few extra nights.

Part of our plan with this trip was that nothing was written in stone, and we think the trip has been successful partly because of that flexibility.

I notice that two weeks from today we will be back at the border crossing into the United States. It's been a great trip... far better than last year's rushed trip.

Yesterday morning, we headed out on the bicycles...

Scenery from the bike path.

I forgot the camera! But I had my phone with me, so that's what took these photos. The one above doesn't look very clear.

This one is not very clear either!

I better check the lens. Yep... it was dirty!

There, that's better!

We rode as far as the first bathroom station.

View of the Tequila Volcano.

What a fantastic cycling path. We did 18.6 kms and we were gone about an hour. We'll do a longer ride another day.

Then, we walked with a few others into town. Friday is market day in Etzatlan.

These guys were making delicious sweet gordidas with chocolate, caramel, or strawberry filling.

They were hilarious!

The central plaza in Etzatlan.

Another great day in Mexico. Did you notice the clear blue skies? Perfect.

  1. That bike trail is an old railway right-of-way, right?

    1. Yes, the path shown in the picture was an old railway line but it has spurs that go off of it and they are not part of the railway line. We will take one of the spurs another day and see where it leads us. :-)
