Choose a tent that will give you enough room to shelter your belongings. Moreover, the canopy should be comfortable enough for you such that it can sustain you even during heavy downpours. If you are planning to do car camping with your family, then how about you choose a tent cabin that is spacious for all of you.

#2. Sleeping bags

Pack inflatable sleeping bags that can sustain you even during chilly weather. Also, ensure that you have extra blankets and a pillow.

#3. Camp kitchen

If you want to save up some money, pack a few utensils from your home kitchen.  You can carry cooking pots, skillets, cutlery, plates, and other necessary items that you will require.

#4. First Aid Kit

Choose a  First Aid kit that will cater to all the people who are taking part in the car camping trip. However, if you are a solo camper, then you can buy a lightweight pouch.

#5. Toolbox

Ensure that you have a toolbox around with all the necessities that you will need.

#6. Invest in a headlamp or lantern.
