The group planned a Christmas Day brunch starting at 11:00am. That gave everybody some time to do their own thing for the morning.
Last year when we did a pot luck brunch, it went over really well. Lots of interesting dishes! And this year's was just as successful.

The food is almost ready.
There was egg casseroles, deviled eggs (always my favorite!), meatballs, fresh pineapple, apple rum cake, flan, cookies, pancakes and maple syrup.
There has been no shortage of good eating and drinking on this trip!
Everybody did their own thing in the afternoon. Heinz and Uli took us into town to get my prescription filled to get rid of that tooth infection, then I came back and had an afternoon nap. But I wasn't totally lazy... I did manage to get up on the roof and clean the solar panels!
Before we knew it, it was time for happy hour! Ruth and I supplied the fixings for margaritas... but we are not good at making them, so Aron stepped up to the plate to play bartender.
