There are now five camping vehicles here. It's all young people... or at least younger than us!
They are all from Germany, but they all speak perfect English. I would say they range in age from 25 to 40.
Scenery from our beach road power walk.
Ominous clouds!
There was an older couple who showed up in a van yesterday as well, but they just looked around and left. I mean, the place itself is not really that scenic, and as I explained the other day it's not even completed. But the young people are friendly and interesting to talk to. We're actually enjoying our stay here, even though we originally came just to wait out the weather.
We had our typical backgammon, cribbage, and yahtzee games in the afternoon. The year is coming to an end, and we will present you with the total scores on January 1st!
In the evening, we had a knock on the door and it was one of the young people inviting us to their get together under the shelter. We went over for a couple of hours and chatted with the group which was kind of nice.
Not much different on the schedule today. Looks like we might be able to get a bike ride in this morning after our power walk. Then this afternoon I am scheduled for a hair cut that is long overdue!
