4 Reasons Why You Should Visit Australia at Least Once in Your Life

A trip begins when we consider our options and try to decide where we are going to go. This is not as fun or easy as it might sound because the amount of destinations available can be overwhelming.

As you might have already guessed from the title, we passionately believe that a trip to Australia is a safe and awesome choice. We have to be clear and say that most of the time it is pretty expensive and tiring to fly there, but it is totally worth it. Australia should be on every self-respecting tourist’s travel bucket list. Why?

Reason 1: A very diverse country

Australia is the smallest continent in terms of land area in the whole world. Do not let this fact fool you because it is so diverse geologically that you won’t have enough time to explore all the places that are worth your time and attention. Having a car will definitely help you save some time. Enjoy Travel is the perfect tool for that as you can hire the car that accommodates your travelling needs in the easiest way possible. Once you pick up the car, you should visit some of its hundreds of national parks. The Kakadu National Park is a popular one as it has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Centre.

Reason 2: The oldest culture

The Aboriginal peoples are indigenous Australians that managed to survive from the colonisation and westernisation of the continent. Despite all the attempts of mostly the British colonists to wipe them out, the Aboriginal culture still exists and is practised in Australia. People can learn all about it in museums all around the country. The must-see attraction is Uluru, or Ayers Rock, which is a sacred place for the Anangu people. Uluru is one of the largest monoliths and it stands out thanks to its red colour.

Reason 3:  Great Barrier reef

Of course, the Great Barrier Reef could not be missing from this list. This reef is included in the 7 natural wonders of the world. Why? It is the largest coral reef in the world and a diverse ecosystem lives there. You can go on a boat trip to see the magic, or you can get even closer by diving or snorkelling in the area.

Reason 4: Hang out with wild animals

As you must have gathered so far, Australia is a country where nature plays a significant role. It is not just the soil and the landscapes that make it special. Wild animals are protected so that they can live happily and freely in their natural habitat. You should go for a walk at the Pelican Park in Redcliffe in order to feed the pelicans that go there to have breakfast every morning. Additionally, you should visit Kangaroo Island where many animals, like kangaroos, koalas and sea lions are spotted all around.
