The weather for this type of activity was perfect. Sunny, with highs about 26C (79F). Even I went on the waterslides a couple of times, and I'm not much of a water person!
The park itself isn't the greatest, but then I guess you can't expect a Six Flags experience in Nova Scotia. But its great for the younger kids, and Sadie with her brother Cameron and cousin Cohen had a blast.
Ruth and I weren't on the ball though. We purposely left the big camera behind, because we also have a small waterproof camera... but we forgot to bring it. To make matters worse, I forgot to bring my phone as well! Stupid. So all of the following photos were taken with daughter Lindsey's cell phone.
They also have a go cart track.
Me, ready to put my brain bucket on!
$5 for five laps is a reasonable price, but the carts were pretty slow.
Racing around the track.
Sadie liked the merry go round, but it was a bit lame for the older boys.
Playing on the bumper boats.
Nice looking roller coaster in the background, but it's apparently been closed for over a year as they are waiting for a part. You would think that whatever they are waiting for could be manufactured in less than a year. Oh well.

Over to the water slides.
Sadie.
At 48" tall, Sadie was allowed onto all slides.

As I said, good fun but mostly for kids. It looked like the funnest (is funnest a word?) ride was the tube ride above, but there was a huge lineup for it. Still, it was a good day out for some family time.

And in Canada...
Well as it was Sadie's birthday and as she is nine I'd say it was a perfect birthday experience! Not much is lame to a nine year old girl especially if her Gramma and Grampa are with her😊
ReplyDeleteAs Kevin said it was great for the kids, they had a blast and that is all that mattered, I think for Kevin and I. it felt a little lame because we have been to some great waterparks in Mexico. We still had a fun day, spending time with the grandkids and watching them have a fun time.
DeleteI think 'Funnest' is not a word but funniest is superlative adjective for funny. Maybe use 'the most fun' to compare which ride was the most fun :-) I'd like to know myself.
ReplyDelete"Funnest" is considered a superlative adjective and has been used as a word in the last century or so but technically you are correct and it should be "the most fun", at least this is what I could find online about it. Obviously Kevin isn't the only one wondering if it is indeed a real word, as this question is asked often online too!
