Having fun with the grandkids

Took the grandkids to the park yesterday. While we love traveling, we also miss them and are happy to see them. Hopefully this winter they'll be able to visit us wherever we happen to be so that our time apart won't be so long.

It had been ten months since we last saw them!

We went to a park at Sadie's new school.

Grandpa and Cameron playing on the spinner thing.
Grandpa got a little dizzy!

Cameron (age 11 1/2)
Long time readers will remember when Cameron was born!

Grandma and Sadie on the swings.

Sadie (will be 9 later this month) playing on the bars.

We've been looking for some special activities to do with them. I wanted to take Cameron and his dad Justin to the Go Kart track, but the only one close enough is near Halifax and it's closed for renovations. Too bad. We also looked at whale watching tours, but they are also a long drive away. The closest ones are near Brier Island, almost three hours drive from here. We think we found something fun though... an adventure park near Windsor which is only about a half an hour drive from here. And of course there's the beach and some good hiking trails in the area.

I updated our flight map the other day. This is a fun and free way to keep track of your flights. We've been on 106 different airplanes in the last ten years! You can also change the map by year at the bottom right by clicking "Select a year"... https://my.flightradar24.com/karead7

Not sure what else is on the go today, but we are definitely going to go get our Nova Scotia drivers licenses!
