They are essentially private communities, normally located outside of a town with monthly fees that go towards maintenance and public areas.
This one is all private houses, although some have apartment complexes as well. And although there are probably 200 homes here, there are very few businesses. I think there is one restaurant, but it doesn't appear to be operating at this time of year.

Our hosts returned home last night around 8:00pm. Diezel the dog was happy to see them. We stayed up too late solving all the worlds problems, but at least we got that done! It's been a good break for us though, and we will search out more house sits in the future.
And today we will drive in closer to the city of Valencia. It's supposed to be a city worth visiting, in fact some of our readers have said it's their favorite city in Spain. It is supposed to be cloudy with showers today though, so we will wait until tomorrow to actually go into the city.
