Sunrise out our side window.
The Abanilla Desert.
Looking back at Max.
The erosion makes for some interesting photos.
The temperature was nice, and there was a lot of sun, but it was windy.
Cactus in the desert.
They've had some luck growing oranges here.
Me!
Ruth!
Max.
By the time we were done, the wind had settled down and it was actually quite warm. I think the high got up to about 22C (72F). Very pleasant.
Back at Max, I had an afternoon nap, followed by our typical games of backgammon and cribbage.
Looks like we might have a good sunset!
Starting to get orange.
Ten minutes later, the sky was on fire!
Very cool sunset!
We're moving on today. Not very far though, only about 35 kms (22 miles) for a change of scenery and some more hiking trails. The weather keeps warming up... calling for a high of 25C (77F) today. Shorts and t-shirt weather!
