So we took advantage of our last day here and did a hike up into the mountains behind where we are staying.
It was only 7 kms (4.5 miles) return, but there was some climbing involved to get us to a great view point.

But, even when we like a place, we get itchy feet pretty quickly. So it's time to move on. Plus, we're on a bit of a schedule as of today because we need to be at Casablanca Airport by Monday.
Only a 150 km (93 mile) drive today, but we're taking the adventurous route on a narrow mountain road and it'll probably take three hours... so we better get going!

ReplyDeleteIt was a great hike, we really have enjoyed this area. In fact we could easily have stayed longer but we would have had to move to another location just to get at some other hikes in the area but we now have a timeline in order to get to Casablanca without having to do a full day or two's drive to do it, by Monday so that we can meet Lindsey and the grandchildren first thing Tuesday morning.
