Heading to the central area, we had to pass right by the beautiful Plaza de Espana on the way, so we couldn't help but go see it again.
Much busier on a Saturday!
Saturday morning at Plaza de Espana.
The north tower.
Ben, Lucy, Ruth, Kevin.
Nice to have friends with us to take our photo!
The Dance Conservatory is a beautiful building as well.
From there, we headed to wander the streets of old town...
Inside an old church.
Getting ready for the Semana Santa procession.
We walked up to the Setas de Seville (also called the Metropl Parasol). This modern sculpture, made of wood and concrete, was completed in 2011. It's fairly impressive!
Us... again!
Below the structure is an old Roman ruins. But it costs €15 per person to see the museum, and walk the mirador pathway on top of the structure. For two people, that would be about $44 CAD! No thanks.
But, we could see one portion of the ruins below.
Ruth, Lucy, and Ben.
We went and found a place to have a beer and a glass of wine and a snack.
Scenery along the way.
Looking back at the cathedral.
Another great day in Spain!
We sat out in the evening again with Ben and Lucy. We have so much in common. We're heading to Cordova today, while they are staying here another couple of days. No idea when we'll meet up again, but we know that it will happen somewhere, sometime!
Oh, and if you missed it, we published our March Expense Report this morning as well.
