Max is all cleaned up. We just have to put everything back in its place, make the bed, and he's ready to go. Our hosts will be back here this afternoon sometime, and Ruth is making dinner for everyone this evening.
We walked into the nearby town of Stamullen yesterday afternoon, just for something to do. Not much to see there, other than an old graveyard.
The backyard.
Notice the clear blue sky. Yet again!
Stamullen. Part of the Tidy Town program.
Ireland has this Tidy Town program. It's a competition of sorts, and they give out awards to the tidiest town. It's been running annually since 1958, so this year is the 65th year. And yes, overall... Ireland is very tidy!
This graveyard dates back to the 15th century.
Main street in Stamullen.
Saying hi to the cows.
Juno likes to sit here and watch for rabbits outside.
Other times, she sits here with me. With her paw on the table.
She's such a good dog. It's unfortunate we haven't been able to take her for long runs. She had an operation on her hind leg for a condition called cranial cruciate ligament rupture, and it takes between 8 to 16 weeks to properly heal. (This is similar to the ACL surgery that some humans have to have on their knee). And of course she's only two years old so you can tell she really wants to go for a run. But, doctors orders.
Yet another sunny morning today. They're saying our nice weather may be coming to end this weekend. We'll see.
