Yesterday, I left Ruth by herself and drove two hours west to the shore of Mazinaw Lake, just south of Bon Echo Provincial Park.
My guys weekend away this year is a long weekend. We all decided that two nights wasn't long enough, so we added on a Thursday.
And, the weather is absolutely perfect. Highs of around 23C (73F) with blue skies and sunshine. They had been calling for some rain on Sunday, which would have been okay anyhow since we leave that day, but now they're taken that away as well.

Beautiful area. We used to take the kids to Bon Echo Provincial Park years ago. . Everyone looks pretty relaxed sitting on the dock.
