More travel planning done

We're going to be on six different airplanes during the month of October. Possibly even seven.

A week from today, we fly from Ottawa to Halifax, Nova Scotia to spend 11 days with our daughter and her family.

Then on October 14th, we fly to Paris, but there is no way to get there from Halifax, so we have to fly back to Toronto first. Then overnight from Toronto to Paris.

We booked an Airbnb near Paris airport, then on the 16th we fly Paris to Istanbul, Turkiye. We stay two nights with a hometown friend who now lives in Istanbul, then on the 18th we fly Istanbul to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

Six different flights.

Ottawa to Halifax to Toronto to Paris to Istanbul to Ashgabat.

Then we also have a local flight that is part of our tour in Turkmenistan when we fly Turkmenbashi to Ashgabat.

So, with all the flights now booked, I also had to apply for e-Visas for Turkiye. They're pretty expensive considering we're only going to be in the country for two nights. But they are valid for six months, so who knows, we might be back there within that six months. Fortunately, they were approved right away, so now that's done.

We're pretty much all set up until the end of the tour on October 23rd. I'm still waiting to hear back from our guide there to see if he was able to arrange anything else for us in Turkmenistan because our visas there had been approved for nine days. I had wanted to travel by train from Ashgabat to the Uzbekistan border, so we'll see what happens with that.

I have not yet booked anything firm for the other "stan" countries. Thinking maybe we'll just wing it and do some last minute stuff. 

Time is passing quickly. I notice that it's getting dark a lot earlier in the evening now. Only one week left of our time here in Ottawa!
