Made it back to Helen and Tony's

On Monday, we walked almost 2 kms to the Bristol Bus Station and took the 10:55am bus from Bristol to Glastonbury.

The bus was right on time, and it cost an amazingly cheap £2 ($2.50 USD, $3.40 CAD) per adult, and half that for Sadie.

I say it was cheap, because it's a 45 km (28 miles) route that takes almost an hour and a half.

Ruth, Sadie, and Lindsey waiting at Bristol bus station.

Tony was waiting in Glastonbury to drive us back to their house. The last time we were there was only last August with our motorhome Max.

For those of you who are new here, Helen is Ruth's cousin and she is married to Tony. We get along well and have traveled together several times over the years. Lindsey hasn't seen them since she visited England with a friend 19 years ago! The main reason we came back to England so soon is that Helen and Tony's son Stuart is getting married May 18th and we're going to the wedding.

Helen and Tony's daughter Kelly was here to greet us as well, so it was nice seeing her again as well.

We taught Sadie how to play backgammon and she is catching on quickly!

Helen made a delicious roast beef dinner for us all...

Roast beef with all the fixings!

Also, they have a new addition to the family! Benji is a six month lab/springer spaniel. He's just a bundle of energy, and he and Sadie really hit it off.

Benji the dog.

Sadie and Benji.

Really nice to just be able to relax for a few days here. There are some things that Lindsey and Sadie want to see in the area though, and the weather is looking pretty decent for the next few days with mixed skies and a high around 20C (68F).
