Just like Christmas!

We spent a bunch of money over the last two days. We need a lot of things to outfit Igor the way we want to, and we saved our purchases for Amazon Prime Day, hoping that a lot of the stuff we want would come on sale.

And sure enough, it did.

The packages began arriving yesterday, and there will be steady delivery of stuff over the next few days!

It felt just like Christmas!

Ruth, showing the size of one of the new camp chairs.

Igor is a lot smaller than Sherman was, so doesn't have the same amount of storage space. And while he's approximately the same length as Max, he's narrower and not nearly as efficiently designed. But, we will make do, and part of that means buying items that are efficiently designed!

Trying to figure out how our new chairs go together.

Done, just like that!

Pretty comfy, even for a tall guy!

And, they have a nice little pocket on either side... one for a cold drink and one for your smartphone! They cost about $37 CAD ($27 USD) each tax included, and hardly weigh anything and hardly take up any space!

Also arriving yesterday was Ruth's new kitchen cookware. Again, space saving design was our priority, along with good quality. We ended up with this nesting set with removable handles...

It's packed away for now, and I didn't take any photos. For $135 CAD ($98 USD) tax included, we thought it was a good deal. They get great reviews, and seem to be good quality.

And, our new inverter and tire plug kit arrived yesterday as well...

1100 Watt Inverter and tire plug repair kit.

I've also order two 100ah lithium batteries for Igor. They were pricey, but with the Prime Day sale they weren't much more money than what AGM batteries would have been. And they give us lots of capacity with power to spare for our frugal needs. That's why we decided on a bigger inverter than we would normally have because we also bought a small electric kettle and a small electric toaster that can run off the batteries.

So the batteries will arrive today, as will the new memory foam mattress! Things are coming together!

Clam Quick Set Shelter. These things are highly rated and rarely come on sale!

And in Canada...

  1. Fun! I like the looks of that camp chair, nice and small. Would fit someone pint-sized like me (5'1") really well!

    1. It is fun opening up the boxes to see what we bought, lol and we still have more coming.

Those chairs are really good, they are nice and compact yet comfortable. They certainly won't take up lots of space in Igor and yes, we think they would fit you perfectly.
