The day has arrived!

Hard to believe we've been a full month in Ottawa. It was a really busy month for us, so time passed quickly.

We have almost everything moved into Igor. We purposely did as much as possible yesterday, because it was supposed to be raining this morning. But so far it's holding off.

We sure have accumulated a lot of "stuff" over the past month. We arrived here with two carry on a suitcases and two small backpacks, but we now have a van full of stuff!

Igor is pretty much ready to go!

He doesn't have a lot of storage space for large items, but he sure does have a lot of cupboards and drawers.

Pots and pans!

For now, the larger items are on the upper bed.

We're not using the upper bed right now because some of the wood structure needs to be replaced. That's one of the jobs I will do at our daughter's place because son in law Justin has a lot of woodworking tools and equipment. But for now, it makes for great storage space for the larger items. In the meantime, we will be using the jack knife couch for sleeping. It's a little cramped for two, but we'll make do.

I plugged the fridge into electric last night, and this morning it's nice and cold. We'll switch it over to propane when we depart later this morning. Then, our first stop is at a propane place to fill the tank. It's pretty much empty, with the gauge reading about 1/8 of a tank.

Really excited to be hitting the road!
