Also, since we now have a diverter toilet and no black holding tank, we didn't have the need for a fancy vent cap.
It was ugly and it had to go!
Terrible installation job.
What a mess just getting rid of it!
I went to the local RV parts place and bought a new one for six bucks!
There. That's better!
After lunch, we went and met some fellow travelers. Karyn and Dave had contacted Ruth through the Senior Nomads FB group that she belongs to, and these people had done some reading on this blog about our travels to Albania. It turns out that they live in Wolfville, only 3 kms down the road from us!
So we sat with them for a couple of hours and talked about Albania. Always fun to get together with fellow travelers!
Ussie with Kevin, Ruth, Karyn, and Dave.
I wore my Albania t-shirt for the occasion!
Gonna take Igor for a short drive this morning. The Air Miles reward program here in Canada has a special on for Shell gasoline today where you get 1 free air mile for every liter you put in. Igor can probably take 100 liters (26 gallons) so I'll go put that in. The extra Air Miles is like getting ten bucks off, so worth it. Current price here is $1.631 CAD per liter ($4.57 USD per gallon).

43" HD TV Record low deal.
And in Canada...
Boy, they had that thing really gooped up!
ReplyDeleteThey certainly did! It took Kevin more time to remove the vent piece and clean up the mess than it did for him to reinstall the new one.
