Everything I try to tackle on Igor becomes more complicated than it should be!

Had a nice day with the family again yesterday. Weather was perfect. Beautiful and sunny with a high around 24C (75F).

Started off with a drive up to Scots Bay at low tide to do some beachcombing. Along the way is the Blomidon Lookoff with a view of the tidal basin and Annapolis Valley.

Nice view of the valley...

Sadie, Cameron, Lindsey, CJ, Alex, and their dog Lucy.

Cameron and Lucy.

Ruth.

Cameron.

Looking for crabs.

Cameron found one!

View of the bay and Cape Split.

Back home for lunch, then after lunch we went over to the Benjamin Bridge Winery.

Grapes growing in the valley.

Kevin, CJ, Alex, Lindsey, Chandler (Cameron's friend) and Cameron.

Ruth got a fancy drink.

The wineries are not cheap. I had a glass of red for $9, and Ruth had a fancy slushie for $14. Plus tax and tip comes to $26.50 CAD ($19.25 USD).

Afterwards, we went to the local swimming hole...

The kids in for a swim.

It's a beautiful spot.

Said goodbye to Alex and CJ after dinner as they wanted to get an early start back to Ontario this morning.

I went out to do some more work on Igor. I feel like time is going quickly and I'm not getting anything done!

When I was perusing the Airstream B190 forum the other day, I read where someone had installed an aftermarket keyless entry system. Igor came from the factory with power door locks, but not the remote fobs for keyless entry. You can buy an aftermarket system that only cost about $25, so I had ordered one.

It seemed like a fairly simple installation, but when I started taking things apart to access the wiring, I found that someone in the past had installed a security system that had included keyless entry. The hardware was missing, so none of the system actually worked, but they left a mess of wiring behind that I had to clean up.

I wasn't planning on getting into this!

Seems everything I try to tackle on Igor becomes more complicated than it should be! Oh well... one thing at a time, and we'll get it done.

And in Canada...
