When we bought him, the exterior hadn't been washed in probably two years or more, and the windows were the same. The rubber seals had shrunk over time, and the drain channels were all gunked up and there was green stuff growing in them!
Fortunately, there are parts available to rebuild these windows, but it's a finicky job. And, the parts have to be ordered from the United States, which I had done ten days ago. They arrived yesterday.
Not cheap either, at $250 USD ($337 CAD) for a bunch of different strips of rubber.
Also, the drainage tiles for the bed frame showed up, so now we can get the mattress cut to fit and the bed done. Yesterday, I worked on the headliner and the interior trim around the front window. Everything is coming together, but somewhat at the last minute!
Hopefully the windows go smoothly, however I doubt it. Not much else has gone smoothly! But again, it is coming together... just more work than I originally had planned.
There's a nice walk through the woods that we like to do. And it's right across the road from the house.
Lindsey and Sadie arrived home last night on a late flight from Ottawa. Haven't seen them yet as they are still sleeping!
