The rest of our time here in Canada

We are going to be in Canada until November 1st. A total of four months, which is the longest we have been here since the summer of 2018 when we drove up to the Arctic Ocean

So, what do we have planned for the balance of our time here?

We're hoping to leave here on Tuesday, September 3rd after the Labor Day long weekend. Most of the kids will be back to school, and people back to work as the summer holiday season officially ends. That depends on just how ready to go Igor is, but we're feeling confident. Worse case scenario, we could stay until the 7th or 8th if we really had to.

When we leave here, we're going to head back to Ottawa. But we're going to take a longer route, and we're also going to take our time... we don't have to be there until the 18th. So we're going to go through Miramichi and Campbellton, New Brunswick and then take the ferry across the St. Lawrence River and take the Quebec side through Quebec City, and skirting around to the north side of the big city of Montreal.

Our possible route back to Ottawa.

We'll visit with my mom for a day or two, and then I have my weekend away with my guy friends from the 19th to the 22nd.

On the 23rd, we fly from Ottawa to Calgary to visit with my sister and do some hiking in Canada's Rocky Mountains.

Back to Ottawa on the 29th.

Then we are doing our annual house sit in Manotick, just south of Ottawa. We made a commitment to do this sit back in March, before we knew that we were going to be coming back to Canada earlier than expected. But it's such a beautiful home and the cats are easy to look after, and they give us a car to drive... so we're just going to hang out for the month of October and visit with my mom.

And then on November 1st, the adventure begins when we fly to Cancun!

And in Canada...

    1. No problem, glad that you are able to comment now.

We are also looking forward to our trip back. We have not spent nearly enough time in Quebec, especially on the north side of the St. Lawrence River.
