Two more of them are retiring next year, so we've pretty much decided that our next annual guys weekend away will be an international trip. Some of the discussion revolved around Mexico, so we'll see what happens.
Here are a few shots from the weekend...
The "cottage".
6 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms.
My buddy Dave out on the boat.
Dave was the best man at our wedding 40 years ago!
One side of the lake has a lot of cliffs.
People out rock climbing.
Look up!
They say these are ancient indigenous etchings just above the water line.
Bon Echo Provincial Park is located on this lake.
Back at the cottage I had a snooze on the dock.
Some of the boys socializing on the patio deck.
We all take turns doing meals.
I did wild Pacific salmon with roast sweet potatoes and broccoli for everyone one evening.
This year, there were only eight of us.
Two of them couldn't make it.
End of another great day.
The cottage at night.
Time for a campfire.
Yes, it is!
We are lucky that two of the guys are great guitar players.
Too funny.
Harold, Bruce, Dave, Jeff, Dave, Paul, Greg, Kevin.
Meanwhile, Ruth was enjoying her peace and quiet with three cats...
Yesterday when I got home, Peter was quick to become my friend.
This afternoon, we drop off Igor to have some minor mechanical work done while we fly to Calgary this evening for six days to visit my sister and do some Rocky Mountain hiking.
