Unfortunately, he is not quite ready for us!
They've completed the tune up, and apparently that went well and he starts and runs even better than before. However I asked for an inspection of the brakes and a diagnosis of the pulsation that was happening. Yes, the brakes passed both the Ontario and the Nova Scotia a couple of months ago, but apparently only just! Anyhow, brakes are important so we are going to get done what is going to need to be done at some point over the next couple of months anyhow. That will add both repair time and cost to our original expectations, but so be it.
Old downtown Cochrane, Alberta.
Selfie with Sascha, one of Alison's two cats.
We hung around town yesterday, and went to a couple of second hand stores that are in the area. One store had lots of used outdoor equipment, but most of it was consignment, and way overpriced. Then in the afternoon, my sister Alison had some exercise classes to teach, so Ruth and I went for an 8km (5 mile) walk around town and along the Bow River.
Beautiful afternoon in Cochrane.
Nice pathway beside the river.
So, we're off to the airport in an hour and a half and we'll be back in Ottawa this evening after a four hour flight and a two hour time change.
