Once again, an absolutely gorgeous day.
Perfect weather for enjoying a tour...
Ruth and Kevin, ready to go!
Otis and Paco on their ATV.
That's our transportation.
And, we're off!
There are a lot of expensive homes on the lake shore.
Lake Avandaro is a reservoir that was formed when they built a dam in 1947. The reservoir is part of the water system that supplies Mexico City.
Due to the scenic location, Valle de Bravo became a weekend retreat for the wealthy from Mexico City and Toluca.
Oti and Ruth.
Expensive homes at La Peña.
Quite a few years ago, Ruth and I climbed up here.
Scenery along the way.
How to build a tennis court on a steep hill.
The municipal marina at Valle de Bravo.
At the top of that hill is the paragliding launch point.
Zoomed in on the launch point.
Big Christmas tree.
The municipal marina.
There were a few paragliders up in the air.
Beautiful view of La Peña.
Paco, Oti, Imelda, and Tomas.
I took a video for you...
At one point, we had a flock of seagulls following us.
Ruth and the view.
Lots of fun out on the water. Thanks for taking us Paco and Oti!
They left later in the afternoon back to their house in Toluca. They won't be here next weekend, but we'll be seeing them again on Monday because we are going to stay at their home Monday night prior to flying to Cancun.
