But nonetheless, they allowed Ruth and I to take the lead, and they even loaned us a radio to communicate with them.
It turns out there is a relatively new libramiento (bypass road) around the town of La Barca. This was really convenient because La Barca was never an enjoyable town to get through. Didn't take anything in the way of photos along the way.
We stopped in the busy town of Sahuayo at a Bodega Aurrera (owned by Walmart) grocery store and picked up a few things that may not have been as easy to get here in Valle de Juarez.
Then the next stop was Victoria RV Park where we are currently the only guests.

There are only the three of us here.
Just us and the cats!
This one is a cutie. He's really friendly.
Oh, and a horse. This is Nelson.
One of the reasons we came here is to see Sue and Roy. They were on our Mexico RV caravans during both 2018-2019, and 2019-2020. They liked this area so much that they ended up getting a place here in the winter, then they go back to Ohio during the summer.
Sue and Roy came over for happy hour!
Kevin, Aron, Owenita, Sue, Roy, Mona, Roger, Ruth.
Quite a reunion!
We are only missing Bob and Denise, Larry and Martha, Jim, and Garth!
Going for shrimp tacos for lunch today!
Weather not the best though... there's a cloudy cold front going through, and only a high of 14C (59F) with showers this afternoon. Supposed to be like this for 4 or 5 days. That's okay... just to make myself feel better, I had a look at the weather in our hometown of Ottawa where it is -8C (17F)!

Nice deal on the DC House Lithium RV Batteries. These are the same ones we have.
And in Canada...
