Happy Easter!

Easter Sunday, and that brings about the end of the busy Semana Santa period here in Mexico. Monday is just a regular work day here, although the school kids still have the day off, so some employees will take the extra day off as well.

It will be interesting to see how quickly things clear out here beside the river.

In our previous Semana Santa experiences on Mexico's Pacific coast, people seem to remain the entire Sunday up until dark, even if they had a long drive home.

We lost our spot by the river when this group moved in first thing.

It was busy down there all day.

The tenting area was packed.

And so was the parking lot.

Fortunately, we still have the space out Igor's side doors, overlooking the river. So we were comfortable enough. We just sat and played backgammon and yahtzee and cribbage.

My chest infection (or whatever it was) is 90% better, but still not 100%. The only problem is that Ruth caught it later than me and so is a few days behind me. She is currently in the middle of what should be the worst part.

Still, she says she feels well enough to get out for a hike. We're going to try to do the 12 kms (7 miles) to the Aguacate Waterfall, and want to get an early start before it gets too warm.

Great deal on the popular Frameo Digital WiFi Photo Frame.

And in Canada...

    1. Thank you! It's not going as fast as we would like though. It isn't very often that we get sick and espeically at the same time.

We hope you had a Happy Easter too.
